Marcus&Monica

As Many Classic comedies do, ours begins with love at first sight and leads to a wedding.

We met at an audition in a basement bar at the Rockwell Theater in Boston, MA.

(Well not in Boston, but nearby. No, not Tufts.)

After both doing our initial auditions, we were asked to read together as Beatrice and Benedick in "Much Ado About Nothing." Through whatever twist of fate, or poor time management, our "five minutes to prep," became several times that as we talked about our families, our favorite songs (at the time, Rivers and Roads by The Head and The Heart,) and asked if there was anything the other needed.

Marcus emailed Monica immediately to congratulate her when they were both cast, and Monica waited three days to respond, though she had already stayed up all night stalking him online. (Did you know Marcus Is an ordained minister? She was confused, as well.)

We worked together at Sh*t-Faced Shakespeare for several years, playing some of Shakespeare's most in-love pairs, all while growing into our very own story.

The Venue

We'll be getting married and celebrating at a private home in Eden, Vermont.
